Courtenay's Dance Company School Rules

Welcome to Courtenay's Dance Company
Here are a few of our school rules.
- Covid if the government requires us to close for any period of time classes will automatically switch to Zoom online as stated in our registration forms. If you have a problem with this you still need to provide us with a months notice to leave the school.
- Covid if your child is sick they must stay home from dance.
- Everyone must pay the Registration Fee $30 per student or $45 per family.
- If you need to with draw from the school half way through the year, you must provide 1 months notice and then you will receive your money back. Until Feb, no refund after Feb.
- There are no classes on Stat Holidays, Christmas Break or Spring Break. During these months there are no discounts. We take the year price and divide it by the months, so all 9 months the price is always the same, whether there is more or less than 4 classes in that month.
- If your child is sick and unable to attend class there is no discount or refund.
- Everyone must either pay for the full dance year up front or provide post dated cheques for the dance year. No exceptions, if payment or cheques are not provided by the first week of classes, you will lose your spot in the class.
-You are responsible to bring your child to and from class. We are not responsible or liable for your child once they leave the building. It is up to you to be waiting to pick your child up when classes are done.
- Competition Class - Students can not leave the competition class once we have started the competition dance no exceptions. If they are injured you must provide a doctors note.
